January 26, 2012—Orlando, Fl.—Just in time for baseball season, B2Cafe recently sponsored UCF’s Baseball FanFest  at Orlando’s University of Central Florida. The restaurants nearby UCF location hosted the popular event on January 18, 2012 where event goers could win prizes, meet the UCF baseball team and participate in family-fun activities at The Venue.

For just $5, baseball fans could purchase a B2 Café meal and gain entry to various giveaways and special prizes.  Tickets were free to the public, doors opened at 6:15 pm and the event wrapped at approximately 7:30 pm.

After catching a glimpse of the newly remodeled stadium, fans were able to mingle with the 2012 baseball team while head coach, Terry Rooney, spoke before an excited crowd.  Along with prizes, fans were eligible to participate in one of three raffles, a meet and greet and the opportunity to purchase season tickets as well as a membership to the prestigious Dugout Club.

B2Cafe enjoyed a successful partnership with FanFest and UCF Athletics and hopes to participate again next year.

With UCF’s baseball season right around the corner, B2 Cafe is thrilled to announce that we will be sponsoring Fan Fest inside The Venue this Wednesday, January 18, 2012. The event begins at 6:15pm, and is free to everyone. For $5, you can purchase a meal ticket, which gets you a B2 Cafe meal and entrance into various prize giveaways.

Fan Fest is an opportunity for fans to meet and greet the entire 2012 baseball team as well as Coach Rooney. There will be plenty of fun, food and prizes for everyone! Grab your family and stop by!

Games and events will include things like ”Guess Your Pitch” and “Whiffle Ball Home Run Derby,” where guests will be able to guess their fast pitch speed and earn ‘home runs’ based on their age.

The event will last until roughly 7:30pm, when fans can then head the UCF Arena to watch the men’s basketball team face off against the Memphis Tigers at 8pm.

B2 Cafe is delighted to be able to participate in Winter Springs’ own “Heart of UCUMC” auction. It is the first silent auction at University Carillon United Methodist Church located at 1395 Campus View Court in Oviedo, Florida. Proceeds will benefit seven local and global mission organizations, including:

• The HOPE Foundation in Oviedo
• The Interfaith Hospitality Network in Orlando
• The Florida United methodist Children’s Home in Enterprise, FL
• Jackie’s House in the Dominican Republic
• The United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR)
• “Horn of Africa Advance,” benefitting children in Somalia
• Zion Methodist Children’s Home in the Bahamas
• Zoe Ministry in Rwanda, Africa

Participating in community events, especially those which give back to our local neighborhoods and to organizations throughout the world is what makes the team at B2 Cafe most proud of the business they’ve been able to create. For this particular event, B2 Cafe has donated gift cards to be sold at the silent auction. Finding out that B2 Cafe is one of the pastor’s favorite restaurants was just the icing on the cake!

B2 Café is honored to have been able to participate in the second-annual UCF Baseball Fan Fest at The Venue on Saturday, January 29th, 2011. Over 800 fans showed up for food, fun and festivities prior to the men’s baseball game that evening against UAB.

The event, catered by B2 Café, included prizes, raffles and giveaways from local vendors. The highlight was the debut of the team’s new Nike jerseys and the introduction of the 2011 UCF Knights!

ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFAthletics.com) – Celebrating the start of the 2011 baseball season, the UCF Baseball Fan Fest Presented by B2 Café is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 29, at 5:30 p.m. prior to the men’s basketball game vs. UAB at 7 p.m. Fan Fest, which drew close to 1,000 supporters last year, will take place at The Venue and feature B2 Café’s signature line of sandwiches, giveaways, posters and autographs.

While the event is free to everyone, for just $5 a ticket fans will be able to grab a B2 Café meal and be eligible to win exciting prizes. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased in advance by calling the UCF Ticket Office at (407) 823-1000, clicking on UCFAthletics.com, or by visiting the ticket window prior to UCF basketball games.

UCF Baseball Fan Fest presented by B2 Café will wrap up at approximately 6:30 p.m. to allow fans to head over to the UCF Arena for the Knights’ clash with the Blazers.

Earlier in the day, the Knights will practice at the baseball complex from 12-4 p.m. which will include an intrasquad scrimmage. It will be the second team practice of the spring as they will kickoff preseason camp Friday, Jan. 28, at 2:30 p.m. Fans are invited to attend practices leading up to Opening Day February 18.

For those attending the team practice and Fan Fest activities, complimentary parking is available in Lot E8 located off of Orion Blvd, north of Bright House Networks Stadium. All other campus garages and lots will be operating under basketball game-day operations ($5 per vehicle).
